Vegetables
Alaska has such a short growing season. With the long days of summer it seems to make up for that. Vegetables such as cabbage, broccoli and cauliflower grow perfect with the cool soil and weather here. With the help of a greenhouse we can grow some outstanding tomatoes, peppers, even eggplant. There are a few edible plants that we harvest such as fiddle heads and mushrooms.
